2010 DSG Bazaar

The DSG’s 2010 Charity Bazaar will take place on Saturday 20th November at IST Secondary Campus, from 12 – 5pm. Over 30 embassies and diplomatic missions will take part, selling food, handicrafts and other goods from all over the world. Our Raffle prizes range from safaris and hotel stays to stunning jewellery and dhow wood furniture. The Grand Prize, from our major sponsor, KLM, is two round-trip flights to Amsterdam.

In the big marquee a non-stop entertainment programme runs throughout the day and a range of kids and tweens activities ensures fun for all ages. Kids can “Map the World” as they visit the Country Stalls and win prizes donated by Marrybrown.

Come early and enjoy coffee and cake from the German stall before shopping at the Country Booths. Choose lunch from China, India, Indonesia, South Korea or Turkey whilst listening to music from around the world. Relax over an Ethiopian coffee and follow the process from beans to cup. Buy tickets for the Grand Raffle and have a go at the Lucky Dip. Search for a bargain at the White Elephant Stall, before treating yourself to a French crêpes or Nordic Waffle. And be ready to claim your prize at the Grand Raffle Draw at 4pm.

Remember that every shilling raised on the day goes to projects that help women, children and those with disabilities in Tanzania. You will see information about our projects as you walk around the country stalls.

We wish you a wonderful day at the 2010 Charity Bazaar! Please come along with your friends and colleagues and help us make a difference.
